TRANSQUEST V0.1!

TRANSQUEST V0.1!

Hey there, fellow TF lovers!

We hope you're having an amazing day because we sure are! After what feels like an eternity of challenges, setbacks, and countless sleepless nights, we're absolutely thrilled to finally share the very first test-version demo of our game with all of you!

We can hardly put into words how excited we are to share this project—our passion—with you. With your continued support, we truly believe we can make this dream a reality. But getting to this point has definitely been no easy feat. To be honest, there were times when it felt like every new feature we added came with a string of problems—crashes, bugs, and moments when we thought our hopes were crashing along with the game itself.

There were even times when we seriously wondered if we’d ever make it this far… but you know what kept us going? You. Your messages, your excitement, your curiosity, your unwavering support—it was like a constant spark that kept our engines running during the toughest days. Every comment, every like, every piece of feedback reminded us that we weren’t alone in this journey. It gave us the strength to push through when we felt like giving up.

Seeing your enthusiasm and knowing that so many of you have been waiting for this moment has kept us motivated. It’s what pushed us to work longer hours, to tackle even bigger challenges, and to refuse to quit. Every word of encouragement made us realize that this project wasn’t just ours—it was ours together, as a community.

There were definitely moments when we thought, "This might be it. This game might never see the light of day." But then we’d get a message from one of you, or hear how excited you were about the idea, and we’d remember why we started this journey in the first place. That kept us going, and here we are, at last—ready for you to dive into the first test demo!

Now, we’ll be the first to admit—this is just the beginning. It's not perfect, and there’s still a long road ahead. But we're beyond excited to hear your thoughts, gather your feedback, and see how we can improve and grow this game even more. This is your game as much as it is ours, and your input is invaluable.

The journey has been tough, but we made it through because of you. We’re so proud to finally share this milestone with you, and we’re more motivated than ever to continue improving and building something we can all enjoy.

We can’t wait to hear what you think, what you love, and what you think we can make better. Your feedback is the fuel that’ll keep us moving forward.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for being with us every step of the way. We hope you enjoy the game, and we can’t wait to grow together with you!

Let’s make this amazing!

Overall, solid 0.1 release! I am interested to see more of the story and to see more quests in future updates.

My primary feedback is around the UI:

  • it is not clear when certain locations are available to visit. Specifically, the office seems to be unavailable until the afternoon. Same for the store.
  • In the Daily Work minigame, spots/gems that have been clicked are slightly faded, giving the impression that they can no longer be interacted with.
    • having a first-time instruction for how this minigame works would be helpful for people who are not familiar with this type of matching game, or to clarify when to 'stop' working, or if there is any benefit to continuing to play beyond the first purchase.
  • The shopping UI is a little clunky. Many of the elements seem to overlap each other or require scrolling to see in full. It may help to shrink the items or even lay them out in a grid so that the player can minimize scrolling. Use the preview on the left as-is to show what the full-size item looks like.
    • there does seem to be a layering issue here as well. the first clothing item you try on gets set to the bottom layer, which can lead to some odd overlapping between the shirts and pants.
  • One of the current quests says that you need to be wearing 2 pieces of "cute clothing" to meet Aldo at the bar, but there is no indicator of what counts as "cute"

Will the player eventually be able to look at their phone outside of the quests?

I'm looking forward to seeing future content and updates!
